The Willow Go and 3.0 have about $200 price difference, with the Willow Go coming up cheaper than the Willow 3.0.
The price difference between both pumps is pretty significant. I believe Willow created the Willow Go due to the high price of Willow 3.0 was out of budget for many pumping moms, therefore, they created Willow Go to increase their potential customers. (Again, this is just my personal belief.)
Due to the price difference, the Willow 3.0 does have more features than the Willow 3.0 (as you will see further down this article). It is up to you to decide if those extra features are worth the $200 price difference.

Both the Willow Go and Willow 3.0 are not typically covered by health insurance.
Throughout my search of breast pumps when I was pregnant, I learned that my health insurance covered about $200-worth of breast pump. For my health insurance, this meant that I would get any pump worth less than $200 for free. If the breast pump, like the Willow Go, was worth more than $200, then I would pay the difference.
Every health insurance is different, so if you have a really good health insurance, you may qualify for a free Willow Go or Willow 3.0.

Both breast pumps can connect to the Willow app wirelessly. The difference between them is that the Willow 3.0 offers smart pumping. This means that the app-connected breast pump tracks breastmilk volume in real time and automatically records your pumping session.

Willow Go vs Willow 3.0 Breast Pump: Battery Life
Due to the many features each breast pump has, they both have a different battery life. The Willow 3.0 has a battery life of 2 hours. If your pumping session is 20 minutes, then it will be good for 6 pumping sessions, whereas the Willow Go is good for about 4 pumping sessions.
Despite the difference in battery life, it is important to note that the Willow Go is smaller than the Willow 3.0, which could explain why the battery life is not as long.

Being considered a hospital-grade strength breast pump is something that every breast pump tries to do.
Typically, hospital-grade breast pumps are not portable, yet both the Willow Go and Willow 3.0 are considered hospital-grade.
Knowing that these breasts pumps have hospital-grade strength should put your mind at ease since it is telling that both breasts pumps have potent, yet effective, pumping settings.

The Willow 3.0 has a milk capacity of only 4 oz, this is for both the containers and leaf-proof breastmilk bags.
On the other hand, the Willow Go breast pump has the option of either a 5 oz container or a 7 oz container. If you choose the 7 oz container, it may make your breast pump slightly more bulky, but for the convenience of not having to stop your pumping session to empty the container is well worth it to me.

Willow Go vs Willow 3.0 Breast Pump: Leak-Proof 360 Mobility
One of the key features of the Willow 3.0 and what makes it unique and separates it from any other pump in the market is that it allows for 360 mobility. This means that, as Willow claims, you are able to bend down, lay, and even exercise, and your breast pump will not leak. You can achieve this by using the Willow 3.0 leak-proof 360 mobility breastmilk bags with the Willow 3.0.
Unfortunately, the Willow Go does not have this feature.

Specifically, these breasts pumps biggest differences are the price, milk capacity, and whether or not it has leak-proof 360 mobility.
I believe it is give-and-take with the features each pump has. If it is important for you to have 360 mobility, then maybe it is worth it for you to pay the additional $200 dollars for the willow 3.0 as compared to the Willow Go, which does not have that feature, but does have many similar features as the Willow 3.0. Additionally, the Willow Go allows for higher milk capacity.
Regardless of what you prioritize, both the Willow 3.0 and Willow Go are highly rated and recommended by many pumping moms.
